the only thing i would really miss on this computer are the pictures, and most of the ones i want are posted at FB or Flickr.

the resolution there is less, obviously, but they wouldn't be *gone.*
i also email important things to myself at yahoo so i could retrieve those docs off site if necessary.
i do think people don't back up enough though.
