I somehow missed the Ankiel/Farnsworth trade over the weekend.

Interesting that they flipped Collins (who I thought was easily the best part coming to ATL in the TOR trade).

So they turned Yunel, Gregor Blanco and a couple mediocre prospects into Rick Ankiel, Kyle Farnsworth and Alex Gonzales? Their OF def is gonna be crap outside of Heyward, but they have some decent platoon pieces. Gonzales still sucks, but if Farnsworth can avoid walking the house and limits his HR tendencies, he certainly makes their pen right away....something that wasn't assured in Collins. They took on quite a bit of crap salary (Ankiel-Farsworth) to do it, but I think in the end, the trade ends up being a legit win-now move.
