Every scouting report says that Ankiel needs to stay at a corner OF. In half a season though, that's probably not very damaging.

If you go with a 3 man rotation of Diaz/Ankiel/Melky, I think you have three below avg defenders, but used in platoon matchups, their positives outweight their defensive shortcomings.

I'm not saying Gonazales isn't tough. He just sucks at not making outs.
