as someone in the thick of archive side of it said...if they hadn't put on such a media show with highly exaggerated values...

The controversy would have raged in academic circles for decades and they could have made some serious cash off it....but with the big front page story people who never would have been aware of it came out with the real story.
The images were worth more unknown as Adam's copyrights are definately controlled by the family trust
