Get on board the Neuterville Express. This is such a great thing they're doing.

There are so many cats in my county and not a single no-kill shelter. The clinic (in Cincy) that's doing this has a no-kill shelter where we've taken a couple strays. They were so full I ended up keeping a 3rd stray. Ended up costing me nearly $500 to nurse her back to health but she's a sweetie.

I have a neighbor who's rumored to poison cats so I hate seeing strays around here. There was another cat I couldn't take in and the shelter couldn't take. We and another neighbor fed her but we found her dead one day by the side of the house. Sad.
