I'm about to cook a steak for the first time in years. Any pointer from y'all are more than welcome.

It's a thin steak sandwich type steak, not flank. I will be eating it on a roll with L, T, green and jalapeno peppers. I'm thinking frying pan on high heat with a little oil, minimal movement to allow a sear. Not rocket science, right? Any other tips?

You probably don't need the oil, if anything just wipe the pan with a bit on a paper towel.
