Because my overall scan rate is so low. Which sort of defeats the purpose of the program, but hey, the DM wants a scan percentage above a certain rate. Sometimes I scan the same card for a week or so. I don't use the extra bucks or coupons that come out, because it could potentially be tracked by loss prevention and I'd get fired.
