It's an issue with the *Droid*, not Verizon. Droid X will have it, the Incredible will get it.

Once 2.2 rolls out to the Incredibles, anyway.
I know the Droid X can do it because my wife just got one.
Droid not getting it sounds like a hardware limitation, not a Verizon being dicks limitation.
