sure. but baseball got what it wanted out of having no testing, so their ends mostly justify their means as well...

overall this whole thing doesn't really interest most fans beyond the hardcore audience (who will keep watching anyway) so since ratings and attendance don't seem to have been affected all that much over this endless scandal, it mostly has worked out ok for all involved except a handful of stars who will have to wait extra long for their post career accolades.
