Don Homer - how do you like Mozy?

Can I use it like an external drive? I want to put all the files from my old computer onto it (namely mp3's, pictures, etc.), then download them onto the new computer.

I am using it right now only for backup of our tax files from the last few years (because of the free storage space), but figure for $5/month, we'll drop 1 Netflix movie so we're down to 2.

It's unobtrusive and not as resource-intensive as Carbonite, so I think I like it (though hope I never have to "use" it. - Don Homer Aug 6, 12:35 2

Most backup products (like Mozy, Carbonite, Crashplan) don't work like a "drive". You can backup from one and "restore" to another but it isn't as - oblique Aug 6, 12:29 7
