Popups are almost equivalent to Ks. But Cahill isn't getting a ton of popups, he's getting a ton of gound balls.

With a good defense and/or some luck, those turn into outs. But if your defense or luck turns, all of sudden, not so good. That problem doesn't occur with K's.
