the number seems easily skewed, no?

as in a 200 k a year pitcher, has 200 less balls in play. So a 100k pitcher has 100 more chances to allow a hit than the 200k guy. That number can certainly vary, but the odds are that 100 outs can be a decent number of persentage points.
