input from a FS rec specialist would be awesome!

ive been wanting to go to NM for a while and i might have to fly to SLC in early Nov, but then i have a ton of vacation time, so i could fly or drive down there and hike to my hearts content. (im also flirting with the idea of moving there someday, so i want to get a feel for the city and area).

im also very very into ancient NA ruins (but SNL could be cool too)
