hmm. those are 2 pretty different areas you're looking at.

Fishtown can be hit or miss - some areas are nice, but some not so much. I have not really spent any time there though.
North Wales is up by me. 20-30 minutes away probably.
You might also want to look around Manayunk - I expect you would like that area.
I'll ask around this weekend and see if anyone knows of any hiring going on.
