just read a thing on misquoted movie lines ... one is Vader's "Luke, I am your father."

what actually went on was, "Obi Wan never told you what happened ...

He told me enough, he told me YOU killed him.

No. I am your father.

now here's how they could have taken it another way, ...

what he actually said when they were filming the scene was ,"Obi Wan killed your father."

and then later it was redubbed to put the finger of blame on Vader as being Luke's dear ol' ...

but that could have been interesting ,,, if OB had actually killed Anniken and then Palpatine picked up another Sith apprentice during the time of the Order 66 and all that, or if Darth Maul had actually survived and gone on to be the Vader figure.
