ST App Developers! We're looking to make an app for my employer, and we need some guidance on how to get started.

Luckily my bosses are cheap and don't want to pay a company to build an app for us. So, they're going to let us learn how to create these from scratch.

We've downloaded some tutorials and started to poke around a bit, but want to confirm the best approach to learning this skill.

It looks like we need to download some software called XCode and maybe learn some Objective-C. Does this sound right? Will I be able to find a version of XCode to install on my PC? What about writing/converting apps for Android?

Your wisdom and guidance is appreciated...
