If "2/3 of New Yorkers think the government should forbid the mosque" I'd be more troubled.
My original opinion would have put me in the group that wanted it moved. I respected the right to build it there, and did not want to infringe on that right, but I also didn't want it there and would have liked to see it moved (not by government decree).
But with the bullying tactics, anti Muslim-sentiment, and general close-minded ramblings of the past month, I'm now firmly entrenched in wanted to see the mosque open its doors in that location.
