Well, I'm sure if that ever happened, both the catcher and pitcher would need to be dead.

When we were in Fenway and the Jays put the shift on, I'm like....he practices going to left in batting practice (I saw him do this repeatedly in Baltimore)...why the hell does he refuse to try it given the absurdity of the shift.
Either a) to get on base or b) at least stop that monstrosity?
