if it is Juan Pierre up, who routinely bunts for singles, I have no issue with it.

it is when the guy who has not bunted in 2 years tries to lay one down, that I would have the issue.
But I certainly would not begrudge him if the 3rd baseman was playing back in no doubles defense.
