everthing in the games revolves around asking people for help, if you dont came back within an alloted time your stuff goes to waste....zynga has full time behavorial psychologists hired to get people more and more addicted to make it look like a fun social game but in reality it is to get you addicted and to not make peer pressure so offensive that you quit the game all together.
