one of the other law clerks i had gone to school with wanted to learn italian too and the college was near the courthouse

so we just found the italian class, showed up the first night and "audited" it as students.

i think we only lasted two or three more classes before the teacher (old and doddering though she may have been) figured out we weren't actual registered paying students

learned to count to ten at least
