Out of all the people to survive, the Imam, the boy/girl, and Riddick ... I guess I can safely say I didn't entirely see that coming.

Rather, I expected "the captain" to also survive. The ending felt a bit cheap, I guess, was my general feeling about the film.

So I can almost say that I liked The Core more than I liked Pitch Black ... :)
