Totally inappropriate use of the listserve. However, people e-mail such stuff all the time.

Then a 1st year replied all saying:
If you want to sell something try craigslist or ebay.
Let us make an attempt to slow down this email intake.

Then some other 4th year replied:
Let's try being at the school for more than a month before telling everyone how to use the listserv.

Then that jerk 4th year got served by a 2nd year:
Is that really necessary? He may have only been here for a month, but apparently he's already realized something that you haven't in four years... None of us enjoy having our inboxes inundated with spam.

Not sure why anyone wants to broadcast their jackassness to the whole school. Right when they are sending in their residency application too. (The listserve is read by the faculty too).
