trust me...the extra space you get so you can put in Architect is worth it. People are loathe to destroy the Academies because the Futures sound so attractive but the savings you get is tiny and would take a very long time to recoup their worth...meanwhile with an Architect you save on all that marble.

Once you're up to the Futures in the Academy I tear them down.

Granted, they can always throw another research in there but it's usually not so had to achieve it with just one or two academies if it comes to that.
