i'm just going by the summer's ratings with tiger out of contention, which pretty much have the pga in a panic....

since no matter how much they talk up whatever faceless nobodies they are currently touting as up and coming, it's obvious that without tiger playing well there's a large segment of viewers that obviously don't care too much about those personality devoid newcomers.
