pro: Fairly large extended size while fairly compact when not in use. Quick release means you don't have to screw in your camera each time you use it.
con: legs extend by friction (there are no clamps; and it takes some force to extend or collapse). The legs have some flex in them when extended, so it's not the most stable. The quick release adapter requires a screwdriver or coin to tighten to the camera.
verdict: better than nothing (I'm a big proponent of tripods). But poorly executed.
