ok ... this is just from my perspective as an insurance agent - but you should always "report" the injury - and I think most companies allow the

employer to simply pay for minor claims so they won't count against them - but have it recorded or filed - just in case something later develops where the injured employee WOULD want to claim the benefits ... things like back injuries are a good example of this. just my opinion
