First, with the best friend's girl. It was the night before I left for my first year of college. My friend had been dating this girl for a couple of years. I had sort of become her shoulder to cry on when they had issues. There was always some sexual tension there and we were pretty close, but she was always clearly his girl and I honestly wouldn't have had any interest in dating her. But the tension was there. That night we were saying goodbye as I went off to school, he was in the other room and we went to have a private moment goodbye and it turned into about a 5 minute makeout session. I think it was just sort of curiousity and something to get out of our systems. We never spoke about. Never told him (or my girlfriend at the time who was also in the next room) and for some reason I never really even considered it cheating. It meant nothing (beyond our friendship), it didn't go too far and had no lasting impact on any of our relationships. Weird and very unlike me. Hadn't thought of that in ages until that poll.
Funny first date story. My friend got set up on a blind date with a woman who lived in his building whom he had never met. He went to her apartment, knocked on the door and when she answered he immediately just got such a negative vibe (not just looks) that he said "Sorry, I've got the wrong apartment" and left. He then went back to his apartment, called her and said he was sick and couldn't go.
