Is it possible it was your sister who did the adding?

It's possible that your mom never actively added anybody but your sister added your mom and you mom just had to click "confirm". If one person initiates and the other confirms then it shows up for both of them. I know for about 2 years I only had one brother listed because adding siblings to my profile was just something I wasn't going to do.
