my dogs have had some really great dog beds and they also refuse to use them, they want to sleep either

on the bed with me (or sofa, or air mattress or wherever) or on top of my dirty laundry
A friend gave me a super expensive bed with a built in heating pad and cooling system and smarty would never get in it, he would either upend it, or drag it to the back door
