I'm so sorry you had to deal with that.

My mother was ill for a long time before she died. My sister and I took turns caring for her. She didn't have any dementia until close to the end but physically she was very frail. My husband (Crash) is helping his mother take care of his father, now. He started showing symptoms of alzhiemer's about a year ago. Unfortunately his disease is the nasty kind that progresses very quickly, so it's been very difficult for him and his Mom. They live up the street so he's there a lot.
I honestly think that people like you, who've put their lives on hold to care for a dying parent deserve a special place in the heaven of their choice.
I apologise forr the way the post on B2 sounded. Honestly I was trying to convey that there are several folks here that suffer from horrid insomnia. I've been awake for an hour and a half after falling to sleep about midnight. So there's usually somebody to talk to--but I've never known what to talk to you about. Plus I never know when I'm posting all kinds of whacky shit. I had 2 moderate left hemispheric strokes about 3 months ago and sometimes I call a door an onion, stuff like that. It's getting better but Crash says I can be quite entertaining sometimes. If I do it to you, just laugh at me. :)
