Mop ... I've lived on Vancouver Island and Quadra Island.

Quadra Island was the image I linked - the ferry to Quadra sails from Campbell River, on Vancouver Island.

Campbell River is about 4 to 6 hours north of Victoria, depending on how you drive. The ferry ride to Quadra is 15-20 minutes, depending on the weather and whether any whale pods are in the area or any rescues need to be performed.

The second image I linked is to where I lived after I lived on Quadra - at a trailer park in Campbell River.
