I'm not picking a side in this battle because I haven't figured out where I stand yet, other than I don't generally like what they stand for, but....

...I had an interesting conversation with someone who worked as a processing agent for a government institution who said that personally she felt really uncomfortable dealing with someone whose face you weren't allowed to see. Had nothing to do with Islamic beliefs, but entirely with the socialogical interaction between two individuals.
I found that experience enlightening, because I can totally understand it. Never had personal experience other than to see the occassional woman walking on the street.
