sound like it over Amazon not delivering on their end of a customer agreement.

Customer priorities aren't the question. If the customer wants a new hamster wheel on Monday, and Amazon says they'll have it Monday but doesn't deliver it? That's a failure on Amazon's part, and the customer has every right to be upset, even if you or I or Amazon don't think hamster wheels are very important.
