honestly, my folks would have had a much much harder time with cohabitation than marrying out of the religion.

yeah, i'm pretty sure my folks haven't loved it when i've done that, but they respect that i'm an adult and can make my own decisions

the second part is there, sorta. But my mom in particular is convinced that people go to hell for that, and nothing can change her mind.
