first 3 years, then we moved and the new school didn't offer it.
At our first parent/teacher conference her teacher commented that she spent a lot of time staring out the window because she was bored. I asked why she couldn't be given more advanced work or special projects.
"I have 30 kids in the class and some of them can barely read, I don't have time to take care of advanced students"
We moved her to a private school the following year.
