I use that too, but they keep opening back up. I'm investigating the rooting option, but...

..*not* being a Sprint phone, I'm having trouble finding instructions for my (CDMA) Hero on how to do it safely.
Responses:
Are the apps hogging resources by being opened and closed frequently? If not just use the task killer and save the hassle of rooting the phone

My main concern is data leak, but it's not that bad and if I have to roam, I can turn data off entirely. -- nm
