several of the other chefs named him as their competition ... last I recall was the last girl standing - who claimed him as her main competition because their cooking styles were so similar
I wonder how much having Michael - who knew him already - as his sous chef and angelo being sick made a difference. I was pulling for ED - but I think having Elan messed up his game - very unfortunate he was unable to rally better.
