Movie Theatres in the US have a maximum of 299 seats because at 300 wheelchairs must have access to all rows....

Has to do with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Not sure if this is true but I could see it as a reason.
Anyone know how true this is? Does Havens check the boards anymore?

True.....I should have preferaced it as most theatres are likely designed as having 299 so they dont have to have the wheelchair access....
