In this case the fight was over who had ownership rights and whether the two men should be considered partners or mere employees.

They took advantage, we are certain, to line their pockets, but because one was the accountant, you can see that finding a paper trail is not likely.
But what was taken through that is really insignificant. What they were asking for has now been denied and that was the desired outcome, so all's good.
