We thought it was badly predictable. Oh, he has a brother? conflict. It was very talky, too. I didn't think it was a 5 - 10 year old movie at all.

But, both the girls liked it, and my 14-year old said it made her want to read the books.

And the visuals were indeed exceptional. Definitely need to win some awards for that.
