JD - I guess that would be the maximum, but it probably wouldn't always take that long

I've gotten 4 day turnaround on DVDs in the past. Also they have a really great "honour" system thing where you tell them you've sent back a disc and they send you your next one (restricted to certain qualifiers - you can't have lost a DVD, etc. etc.)

But really, why would Zip care? their model is monthly subscriptions. If you want the service in the north (and Sudbury isn't really "north" - it's on the way to stuff), that's what it's going to be, take it or leave it. All zip has to do is toss a few more envelopes in the outgoing mail.
