Built in DVR functionality is what is necessary. Add that to the Roku, and it will FTW. That's why I'm optimistic about the MCE settop boxes.

The Tivo is close to the perfect device... except for the subscription fee. An Xbox with a DVR, the PS3 with a DVR, or the Google TV with a DVR, and we are in *SET*.
