they figured why not beat them for sure here with the medallion, because the old people would have to vote out another person and make it even less likely to win the next challenge, even with the medallion
frankly, if i was the young team i would always let the old team use the medallion because they'll just be that more demoralized when they (inevitably) lose
all of which seems academic now, given what the preview seemed to show happening next week
