I love travel too ... my mom used to say I inherited her gypsy feet :) ... one good thing about a long road trip is I could practice learning Italian

in the car along the way ... sigh ... ah well - I don't have to decide for a while - thank goodness! Maybe I'll compromise and do a road trip to see my sister in Wisconsin over Thanksgiving and call that my family "holiday" obligation being met? (I'm really far too independent for my own good ... I relish having Christmas to myself ... maybe it's from being the youngest and having to split the day for so many years between parents after they divorced?)
