I don't consider that standard unless before the meal you say "You cook, I clean?"

I mean sure...it's the polite thing to do...but generally speaking, if I'm invited to someone's place, I don't plan to clean up.

I don't know that's the case here though. I just wonder if she knew it was understood beforehand? Or if the cleaning thing was news to her.

Either way...it's pretty dickish to eat a huge meal, not help with the prep or payment and then NOT help clean up.
