okay, I'll go slower - I can argue that Boise matches up against any team in the Pac-10. The Pac-10 by your third ducking of willing to take them on

is better in your own tacit admission than the SEC this year. So yeah, we're both agreed that Auburn isn't the best team in the SEC. So roughly that translates to Auburn being maybe Cal. And I truly believe that Boise State can beat Cal in a neutral site.
Oddsmakers make odds so that money lays up on both sides of the bet. There are a lot more fools in the south than here, so yeah odds on any SEC team will be high. Odds are a reflection of public perception, not just the truth.
And though this might come as a shock to you, we only use 11 players on the field here. Boise doesn't make the too many players on the field mistake. But a notable SEC team does. I do not know how errors that an SEC coaching staff makes means that the SEC has better coaching, but somehow to you it does.
