and if we'd had a baby with a birth defect that we ultimately thought may warrant aborting because we didn't want the baby to suffer, because we knew we couldn't handle it, or any other gazillion reasons, i can't even imagine how horrible it would have been to have to make that decision.

and then to have to see people talk about how yucky the parents are to make a decision along these lines... holy crap. i can't even imagine.

some life decisions just call for zero judgment from others, butt the fuck out, you have no earthly clue - unless you've been through the exact same thing yourself.

obviously an issue close to my heart right now for various reasons, so i probably should just be keeping my mouth shut.
