Oregon State is a perfect example of why polls are flawed

they were considered a good team preseason but then they lost two of their first three games and got dismissed and dropped from the polls. But their two losses were to TCU and BSU, both teams ranked in the top five.

So now they were unranked, and headlines read "Oregon State Shocks #9 Arizona". It really wasn't a shock at all, OSU just started their season with two top five teams.
