For those who care: I just found out today that I am getting an awesome wedding gift. it totally made my day.

note: this does not make the other gifts we received less awesome or anything - this one is just...different.

There is a brick pathway that leads from camp's parking lot to a brick fireplace/pit near where we were married. A few years back the camp sold engraved bricks to raise money, but stopped this about 4 yrs ago. I'm not sure whether they ran out of room or it was just a hassle to do, but they stopped allowing them to be purchased/engraved.

My friend told me today I am being given a brick on the pathway. I had told Will a few days ago how I would have LOVED to have a "wedding brick" on that walkway, but it was too bad those bricks were no longer sold...

So, this news makes me SUPER happy.

(still not the most unusual present received, though. Someone gave us a Crown Royal pouch filled with 200 or so gold dollar coins.)
